1. Our Satisfaction Guarantee

At StarShopping, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on all our products. If you're not happy with your purchase for any reason, we'll make it right.

2. Digital Products

For digital products (PDF certificates, sky maps, webpage access, animations):

  • Within 24 hours of delivery: Full refund, no questions asked.
  • 24 hours to 30 days: Full refund if you can demonstrate the product doesn't match the description or has technical issues.
  • After 30 days: Refunds considered on a case-by-case basis.

Note: Once you've downloaded digital products, we may not be able to offer a refund if the product was delivered as described and is functioning correctly.

3. Physical Products

For physical products (printed certificates, presentation folders):

3.1 Before Shipping

If your order hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel for a full refund. Contact us immediately at refunds@starshopping.space.

3.2 After Delivery

  • Damaged in transit: Free replacement shipped immediately. No need to return the damaged item.
  • Printing errors (our fault): Free replacement shipped immediately.
  • Customer-provided information errors: We'll work with you to find a solution. Replacement may be offered at a discounted rate.
  • Change of mind: Return the product in original condition within 30 days for a refund minus shipping costs.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are generally non-refundable:

  • Instant delivery upgrade fees (once delivery has been made)
  • Priority registration fees (once the registration number has been assigned)
  • Custom or personalized products that have been produced to your specifications
  • Products purchased more than 30 days ago (unless defective)

However, we review all refund requests individually and may make exceptions in special circumstances.

Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

6. Refund Processing

Once approved, refunds are processed as follows:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days to appear in your account.
  • Other Methods: Processing time varies by payment provider.

Please note that your bank may take additional time to process the refund and reflect it in your account.

7. Exchanges

If you'd like to exchange your purchase for a different package or upgrade, please contact us. We're happy to help you find the right product. Exchange policies:

  • Upgrading: Pay only the difference in price.
  • Downgrading: Refund issued for the difference.
  • Different star choice: Subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

8. Star Registry Entries

If you receive a refund, please note:

  • Your star registry entry will be removed from our database.
  • Any dedicated webpage associated with your star will be deactivated.
  • The star name may become available for future customers.

9. Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We're committed to resolving any issues quickly and fairly. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may delay resolution and could affect your ability to make future purchases.
